Meet the Raptor Pest Control Team
We treat every customers concern and situation with a personal touch.
Jason and Nikki
Owners of Raptor Pest Control
In 2011, Jason was living in Gardnerville, Nevada, working for a company called Catseye. New to the area and still getting his bearings, he never expected how one chance encounter would change his life. On February 8th, Jason met Nikki near Topaz Lake. What began with a simple wink—and a timely nudge of encouragement from a waitress named Debbie—led to a conversation and, soon after, their first date at Saletti’s in Gardnerville.
Not long after that first date, Jason was reassigned to work in Florida. Given how new the relationship was, he was genuinely surprised when he explained the situation and invited Nikki to join him—and even more surprised when she said yes. Together, they packed up their lives and drove cross-country from Nevada to Florida, embracing the adventure side by side.
While living in the Sunshine State, Jason introduced Nikki to everything Florida had to offer, from trips to Disney World and Miami Beach to exploring the Everglades and enjoying the state’s diverse fine dining. Nearly two years later, Jason realized that the mountains—and Nevada—were truly home. He also knew it was time to pursue his long-held goal of building a business rooted in his own principles and values.
Once again, Jason and Nikki packed everything up and made the cross-country drive—this time from Florida back to Nevada. Returning to Gardnerville as planned, they worked together to launch Raptor Pest Control and grow it into the company it is today. Jason is deeply grateful for Nikki’s unwavering support, knowing that without her, his dream of building this business would never have become a reality.
Jason Derrer
President of Raptor Pest Control
My name is Jason Derrer, and I founded Raptor Pest Control with a simple belief: people deserve honest work and dependable service—every time.
I was born in Switzerland and spent my childhood split between Europe and Florida. That background shaped who I am today. From Switzerland, I carry a strong sense of precision, discipline, and attention to detail. From Florida, I gained a laid-back mindset and an appreciation for enjoying life and the outdoors. During my years there, I spent much of my free time fishing, on the water, and exploring as a scuba diver in the oceans and backwaters.
After more than 25 years in the Sunshine State, I felt drawn to a place with more varied terrain and a new challenge. That journey brought me west to Nevada. I immediately fell in love with the landscape—and even more so, the people. I have never felt as welcomed anywhere as I have here in Nevada. I began exploring the mountains and deserts, building relationships with locals, and truly putting down roots. In 2020, I became a licensed pilot because experiencing the landscape from the ground alone no longer felt like enough. Whether by trail or by air, exploration remains a big part of who I am.
I’ve always taken pride in doing things the right way, even when it requires more effort. Over time, I saw too many homeowners and businesses frustrated by missed appointments, rushed work, and companies that prioritized volume over people. I knew there was a better way—and I decided to build a company that reflected my own standards and values.
Raptor Pest Control is built on hard work, accountability, and respect. When I take on a job, I treat your property the same way I would treat my own. I don’t believe in shortcuts or temporary fixes—only real, lasting solutions. I stay hands-on with my business because I want every customer to know they matter, not just their invoice.
This company isn’t just a job for me—it’s something I’m proud of. My goal is simple: protect your home or business, earn your trust, and be the pest control company you can rely on year after year.
Nicolette Anderson
Vice President of Raptor Pest Control
Born and raised in California (yes—that California), Nicolette brings grit, heart, and determination to her role as Vice President of Raptor Pest Control. A Chico High School graduate with a background in Administration of Justice and Police Academy training, she’s never been one to shy away from hard work—balancing full-time school with a full-time job long before it was cool.
After moving to Nevada nearly 15 years ago to be closer to family, Nicolette fell head over heels for the mountains, the wide-open spaces, and the endless outdoor adventure the area offers. It was also here that she found her person. Nicolette and Jason met in 2011 at Topaz Lodge (thanks to a legendary matchmaker named Debbie) and quickly discovered they made a pretty great team—whether it was a first date at Saletti’s, a cross-country move to Florida, or launching a business from the ground up.
When Jason had the “crazy idea” to start Raptor Pest Control, Nicolette was all in—fear, questions, and all. With Jason’s vision and her tenacity, they built Raptor into what it is today: a company rooted in integrity, innovation, and community. Nicolette is often the friendly, reassuring voice you hear when you call, and she takes pride in making every client feel like family. Passionate about people, service, and doing things the right way, Nicolette helps ensure every home is treated as if it were her own.

Devin Devries
Master of Disaster at Raptor Pest Control
I’m Devin—your pest control “master of disaster”—and someone who genuinely enjoys helping people reclaim their homes from unwanted visitors. No two days are the same. Some days it’s ants that are far too organized, other days it’s mice with oversized attitudes, squirrels that sound like a monster in the closet, or spiders that just can’t take a hint.
When pests turn your home into a disaster, it helps to have a master on your side.
Conrad Adkins
Special Agent Vermin Intelligence at Raptor Pest Control
Hello! I’m Conrad, a Special Agent with the Vermin Intelligence Division at Raptor Pest Control. I’ve been happily married to my wife for six years and am a proud father of two energetic “gremlins” disguised as children.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, writing, drawing, spending time outdoors, and hunting. That passion naturally carries over into my profession—where I focus on tracking down and eliminating pests with precision and care. I am fully licensed in both Nevada and California for residential and commercial pest control.
I take pride in being approachable, reliable, and going above and beyond for every client I serve. I look forward to working with you and helping protect your home or business.
